At Bluewater, you’ll learn directly from our experts and share knowledge, best practices, and experiences with other employees across the company.

EEO/DFWP

Equal Employment Opportunity

Bluewater is committed to a policy of ensuring equal employment opportunity in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local statutes and regulations. The officer in charge of human resources serves as the Equal Employment Opportunity Officer (EEO). We are an equal opportunity employer. In all cases, we employ, promote, transfer and provide equal access without regard to race, color, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, age, religion, national origin, disability or veteran status. Additionally, unless under certain circumstances, Bluewater will not discriminate against based on inquiring about, disclosing, or discussing their compensation or the compensation of other applicants or employees. We encourage all our employees to refer minorities, females, individuals with disabilities or veterans, who may qualify, and to provide them with information concerning requirements and opportunities available. It is our policy to provide for all such employees a working atmosphere free of harassment or discrimination of any kind.

Drug-Free Work Place

Recognizing that substance abuse (including alcohol) is a detrimental problem facing society, Bluewater will do the best we can to actively fight this problem. One of the ways we are addressing this problem is by implementing and maintaining a substance abuse policy to ensure the company will be a drug-free workplace. We understand employees and applicants under a physician’s care may be required to use prescription drugs; however, illegal use of prescribed medications is also substance abuse and will be dealt with in the same manner as the abuse of illegal substances. The ultimate goal of this policy is to balance our respect for individual privacy with our need to keep a safe, productive, drug-free environment. We encourage those who abuse drugs and/or alcohol to voluntarily seek help. This policy contains an employee assistance resource file which allows employees and their families to find help in dealing with alcohol or drug abuse. However, it is the employee’s responsibility to seek help before drug and alcohol problems lead to disciplinary action. Bluewater’s Standard of Conduct requires that employees of Bluewater shall not use illegal drugs or abuse alcohol or prescription medications. Any employee determined to be in violation of this policy is subject to disciplinary action, even for the first offense.
